Oh, Happiness...

Outreach: it once seemed so long ago, so how is it possible that we leave Rwanda this next week? Next Wednesday, we leave home and head out on the road. We have a journey of about 16 hours ahead of. First, Kigali to Kampala, Uganda then from Kampala onto South Sudan. After 2 weeks, we will be heading to Arua, Uganda and then on Soroti, Uganda. It seems impossible that our lecture phase is over!

Last friday night we had a full on celebration! First, we celebrated our Savoirs display of love on the cross. And then his even bigger display of love and life that followed 3 days later. Then, we celebrated the compeltion of our lecture phase. The staff called each DTS student up one by one and just spoke words of affirmation and encouragement to each of us. It was amazing to hear those words that they had for me and those that they had for others. God has blessed us with an AMAZING team of students and staff!

So, as we head off on the next phase of our adventure, please pray with us and for us! Here are some things to pray over: 

1. Financial need: we still have 2 students needing to pay school fee's. Pray for provision.

2. Translation: in Sudan, there is one person who can translate for us. Pray that God would supply more and work through us despite the language barrier. 

3. Unity: Pray that God would bind us together even more during this time. Pray that we would work together as one body of Christ. 

4. Safety & Health: Pray that everything will go safely, that no one will get sick or have injuries.

5. Pray for fruitful ministry!

Also, what's after outreach? Well, we will come back to Rwanda for about a week for a time of debriefing. And then...DTS is over. However, the Lord has given me an amazing oppurtunity! On June 8th, I will be flying back to MI. But only for a few weeks. I will be coming back to Rwanda to staff the next DTS! But in those weeks at home (Lord willing!), I plan to do some updating, visiting, relaxing and some fundraising! Please be praying that the Lord will provide for every need! More to come on that later!

During the outreach phase, internet won't be as easily accessible. So, I will try to update, but if not...see you in June!
