My Beloved

"My Beloved" by Jason Upton. This is a song that always brings me to tears, to my knee's to place of peace, a place of almost pleading with God, but also a place of realization of everything that God has done! Maybe the reason this song moves me so much is because of the memories attached to it. This is the song that was played this summer during our comissioning in South Africa. This is the song that I broke down in tears to, that God broke my heart to, the song that was on while God gave others words to pray over me. This is the song that was played whenever we had prayer sessions after worship. This was pretty much the reflection song. The song played when it was time for us to just sit and reflect on what God was doing in South Africa and how He was chaning us. Yes, I am currently listening to this song and it's speaking to my heart! "You are my beloved, I hear the voice of God saying you are my beloved! You are mine, and I am yours!" Even listening to it now, I just want to break down! Break down in adoration of my Savior, in gratitude for how He has changed me, in awe of who He is and just breakdown in the presence of my God!
