Tonight, I just feel like I'm in a thoughtful/blogging mood. So here it goes.
With as much time as I spend on Facebook (that needs to change!), after I while I start to feel like a creeper.When you can talk to someone in person and say something like "Yeah, I saw it on Facebook" you know that Facebook occupies much of your time. But what does your profile say about you? OK, even as I type this it just sounds like it's going to lead into some lame app on Facebook or some lame surface scraping Bible study. But just bear with the thought for a while, please?
Ok, you go through all the pictures you're tagged in. What does it say about you? A lot of times I wonder what conclusion people will come to just by seeing the pictures I'm tagged in. I guess they would see that I've been to Africa, it's my passion and I love my friends and I do weird things. And I guess, that's a good thing, because that's pretty much who I am. But just something to think about. If you say you're a Christian but then your posts are full of language and other smut, what does that say?
So yeah, those are just some of my thoughts, now I will post a link of my blog on Facebook. Aren't I just so funny?
Oh! On the Africa prepping front.....not much going on. As for now, goals are as follows
January 2012: Apply to YWAM Rwanda!
Summer 2012: HOPEFULLY getting a group from my church to go to South Africa
The rest of 2012: Fundraising and prepare for the ride of my life!
