Well, here we are...only a few hours left of 2011. How will I spend them? Well I'll be at work for many of them. But even though it's work, I'm so thankful for it! Tonight was only the first "real" night of work (real meaning the first night of working that hasn't been training). But seriously...I feel so blessed to have this job! I prayed for a way to save money up for the future, I prayed that God would provide, I also prayed that I could find a ministry here in Lansing. He answered! Oh boy did he answer!
I got a job at the Lansing City Resuce Mission's Mapplewood center. The Mapplewood center is women and childrens shelter. Boom, a ministry. The great thing? I feel like God has called me to work with women and children, only in Africa. So this is pretty great!
So I'm working at the mission but still working at the daycare. Bam, He provided. He supplied more hours at the daycare then I've ever had before! He provided a new position at the daycare that I'm excited for! God is just so good! He is always faithful, even when I'm not! He always keeps His promises, even when I fail over and over again! I just can't get over the way He provides!
He even prooves faithful over the small things that I worry about that I really shouldn't. He has it all under control! He's so good!
