Updated Update!

I feel like life has just been going so crazy lately! But mostly in a busy/non-exciting crazy way. But nontheless, Jesus is good!

So big news....I've officially started raising money for Rwanda! In just under 4 months (whoa, I just fainted a bit from that realization!) I leave dear ole Michigan for Kigali, Rwanda. In case I've not rambled on about it enough, here's more details!

What: I will be going to a school (Discipleship Training School or DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). This is a 2 part program focusing on my own relationship with the Lord and then hands on outreach. The outreach will be in Rwanda or Kenya or Uganda or Congo or Somolia or Burundi - I really don't know yet!
When: The school runs from around January 7, 2013 - June 8, 2013, plus a few days of travel...I will be gone from about January 5 - June 10 (ish...still waiting for the exacts on that one.
After: Once I complete this school, I can possibly (if accepted) return to Rwanda as full time staff. That would mean......living in Africa!!!!!!

So, I have already had many little freak out sessions. Freaking over the things I need to get (I swear, my list is growing faster that a family of rabbits!), over the things I need to do (still trying to figure out what all of that is!) and a little bit, but suprisingly not to much, of freaking out over the money. But, I know the Lord is in control, I know He has called me to this, so I know that He is going to provide every little detail!

So, I would really love your support! Prayers especially! I want to try (key word = try) to post prayer requests and updates regularly. So even in the preperation stage, be looking for some updates!
So to get us started, here are a few:
1. Pray for wisdom! I feel like there is a lot to do and to find out, so pray that the Lord would just give me wisdom to know what to do.
2. Financialy provision: I need to raise about $6,000. The Lord has already provided almost $2,000! Praise Jesus!
3.Pray for a broken and useful heart! I am in constant need of a broken heart ready to be used, but the busyness of life sort of fights against this and wins....way to much!

Thank you so much! Your prayers mean so much to me! I love knowing that I can count on my brothers and sisters to be praying with me!
Love you guys!
Joanna
