Jesus, my heart aches for her. She has a heart for others but it's severely limited by her past. She's the type of woman that I just automatically love and want to encourage. A woman who has been used, rejected, neglected and now alone to try to make something of what's left. But yet, she just can't see it. She can't see that the Lord is the one leading me to Africa, not my own selfish self. She can't see that her past mistakes or past life events don't matter now. I wish that she could heal from it all and just go forward. I wish that she would see that You are the ultimate provider, care giver, protector, healer....the ultimate lover. It's all you. Until she truly, truly, for real finds You and who You are, she is going to be broken. Until then, she won't understand that money or job title or number of degrees or family don't matter. She won't understand that by giving my life to You, I literally laid my life down for the sake of whatever You call me to. Until then, she will not realize that she is a smart, strong, caring and beautiful woman that doesn't need to hide behind her past, her traumas or her security blanket clothing.
Until she truly encounters you, she simply will not be free.
Let me be your words to encourage her. Let me be your knees to fervently pray for her. Let me have your heart to love her relentlessly.
Jesus...guide her,  move her,
sway her,  break her, heal her, mold her,
revive her,love on her,
recreate her.
