February is here!

It's hard to believe that it has been nearly a month since I left cold and snowy MI to come to Rwanda! What a month it has been. God has been moving, teaching, stretching, growing and just filling me with His joy and goodness.

Every week, there has been a new topic for each lecture. We have discussed about God's charachter, about Him as our Father, about hearing His voice and then about legalism, liberty and His grace. It has been amazing. Between the reminders of who my God is, what He has done and what that means to me and the discussion/debates about good questions; God has taught me a lot.

I have loved being here and just being surrounded by God's goodness. Yes, there are those days when I just want to flush the toilet, or take a shower without a bucket or when I want anything but rice for dinner, but nonetheless...I am here and I am beyond thankful that my Daddy has brought me here.

In the beginning of April, my team and I will be heading to outreach! Where? Well, we don't really know yet. We have narrowed it down to Kenya, Uganda or Northern Uganda/South Sudan. So, we are praying (students and staff) to find out where God wants us and what He wants us to do. Until April, we will be doing some local outreach here in Rwanda. Our first outreach is next Sunday and we will be doing a church service. We were praying together about who should bring the message. After praying (twice), my team looked at me and told me that they think God wanted to me do it. I am blown away, excited, nervous, overwhelmed and just...wow. So this week, I get to dive into the Word and put a message together!

Thank you so much for constant prayers! They mean so much to me and I feel so honored to have you each partnering with me! Here are a few more prayer requests:
1. Health: No more sickness, injuries and or mysterious bug bites appearing.
2. Focus: No distractions or procrastination
3. Total reliance on Jesus
4. Guidance of outreach

Thank you so much! Stay tuned for photos soon!
